Kalonzo Musyoka has come under fire from youth leaders from Ukambani who have accused him of cowardice after failing to attend the planned Raila swearing in on Tuesday.
According to Capital FM, the leaders said they will switch allegiance from Musyoka to Machakos governor Alfred Mutua's Maendeleo Chap Chap party.
The former vice president also came under fire from NASA supporters following his absence at the inauguration of the "People's President" Raila Odinga.
Musyoka also had a stun grenade thrown into his Karen home after security forces were withdrawn by the government.
The Wiper Party leader blamed his absence on security fears.
NASA said that he would be sworn in later which led to the fierce criticism from Ukambani youth leaders.
