AFC Leopards and Gor Mahia handed minnows

Kenyan Premier League leaders Gor Mahia and their fierce rivals AFC Leopards will start their quest for the 2017 GOtv Shield championship against ‘underdogs’.

According to round of 64 fixtures released from a draw conducted on Thursday, K’Ogalo and Ingwe have been paired against lower league sides Nairobi Water and Dero FC respectively.

Defending champions Tusker will start it off against SS Asaad FC as Ulinzi Stars lock horns with Wajiji FC.

Notably, this year’s edition has been divided into two Zones; both Gor Mahia and AFC Leopards being in Zone A.

Bandari, Sony Sugar, Chemelil Sugar and Western Stima are some of Kenyan Premier League clubs in zone B.
