It’s so frustrating when you have a meal that goes so well with avo but then your avo is not really ripe and you kinda just have to have the meal minus the avo? Urgh, so frustrating. Avocado is one heavenly fruit, serves a tone of purposes from being consumed to being used for beauty DIYs; it’s a must-have. However, it’s not avocado season at the moment. In fact, if you go to buy an avo, you will only find the unripe ones, but, go ahead and buy them anyway (they’re scarce at the moment) cause we will show you how to ripen them faster, say in 2-3 days using these tried and tested methods.

1. Insert the avocado in a brown paper bag (not nylon) with rice then place it somewhere near a window where there’s light and sun.
2. Place the avocado in a paper bag with an apple or a banana, or even both then place the paper bag near a window.

3. Into a paper bag, pour in about half a cup of flour and then put your avocado inside then place the paper bag near a window.
One of the above methods will help your avocado to ripen faster than it would have naturally. So try it and see for yourself.
