Gronkowski, who is now a studio analyst for Foxs coverage of the NFL, made an appearance at WrestleMania in 2017, jumping over the barricades to help Mojo Rawley win the match and defeat Andre the Giant. Last year, WWE president Stephanie McMahon also in having Gronk join the wrestling network, stating that shed love anybody who has a real big personality to participate in the ring in his post-football career.
At a sponsors news conference in 2019, Gronkowski stated that he could being a part of a WWE match five years down the line, but not as a full-time wrestler.
I dont feel like I would be a full-time wrestler, the former tight end said at the time, but there is one thing Im down for, and thats to do one crazy match. Practice for a little bit, go out therelike in a Royal Rumblego out there, get my friend in WWE [that would be Rawley], practice it and do a full-on WWE match.
Maybe wrestling fans will get to see Gronk headlining a WrestleMania match soon?
