In her latest wildly popular and wildly graphic video, dermatologist and TLC star Dr. Sandra Lee tackles a cyst on a patient's back.
"I got yo' back #cysta," she wrote in the caption, because Lee is not only great at freeing shocking quantities of pus from people's skin-she's also amazing at dermatology puns.
That being said, this gnarly cyst is no laughing matter. Even though there doesn't seem to be a bulge protruding from the skin- as with some of Lee's other projects -there sure is a lot of gunk hiding under the surface. Lee starts by applying pressure with her fingers to both sides of the incision, releasing a substance that looks-I'm sorry, okay?!-a lot like cheese. Then, with a snip-snip here and a snip-snip there with her metal scissors, Lee frees even more of the cyst's contents.
You know, there's something oddly soothing about the sound of those scissors snipping away-yet another reason these pimple-popping videos are oddly satisfying! At the time of publication, the video had racked up more than 200,000 views.
