Daddario credited her experience of training with Efron for Baywatch with sparking her love of fitness."My first thought was... I don't really need to do anything, I'm fine," she recalled saying to herself after she got the part of Summer in the 2017 movie remake of the popular 1990s show. "And then I started weight-training and working out, and I realized my back started to feel better... it wasn't just how I looked, it was how I felt."
Efron famously got shredded for Baywatch, training with L.A.'s Patrick Murphy to become the kind of star that could stand next to The Rock shirtless and hold his own. While there were no jaw-dropping transformations of that kind during his workout with Daddario, Efron's latest video does include a few great workout moves for exercising your core and strengthening your abs.
They started with the "Dead Bug", a move which works out the transverse abdominis - the deepest abdominal muscles. They then moved onto the "Russian Twist," which involves twisting to one side while holding a medicine ball and then passing it to your partner on the other side; this activates the obliques in your side.
Efron and Daddario then took it in turns throwing medicine balls to each other while one lay on the ground, a move which exercises both the upper abs and lower core - and which resulted in Daddario accidentally throwing a medicine ball directly into Efron's money-making face.

Things got pretty competitive, before they retired to the cryosauna where Efron quizzed Daddario on her worst habits and favorite junk foods while she stood in freezing temperatures. It looks like all was forgiven by the end though.
