Fans of Emily Hartridge are in shock after the YouTube star died Friday morning at the age of 35.

Hartridge was involved in an electric scooter collision, and an announcement was made about her accident and death on her Instagram account on Saturday. Hi everyone. This is a horrible thing to have to say over Instagram but we know many of you were expecting to see Emily today and this is the only way to contact you all at once, the post said.

Emily was involved in an accident yesterday and passed away. We all loved her to bits and she will never be forgotten. She has touched so many lives its hard to imagine things without her. She was a very special person.

Hartridges last post before her death challenged conventional notions that women should be feminine and shouldnt look strong. London Metropolitan Police said in a press release that a woman in her 30s was involved in a fatal crash between a truck and electric scooter. She was pronounced dead at the scene. Police are currently looking for witnesses or anyone who has footage of the accident.

Emily became famous on YouTube, where she had more than 300,000 subscribers, according to CNN . She went on to host TV shows such as 4ODs Oh Sh*t Im 30, but she was best known for her weekly 10 Reasons Why videos, which tried to prove that everything in the world could be explained with 10 reasons.
