Two people were killed on Thursday after three dams overflowed submerging the entire village in Nairagie Enkare area in Narok East Sub-County following heavy rains that pounded the area.
Over 100 families have also been displaced following the incident.
The flooding destroyed tens of acres of maize, beans and banana plantations.
According to, a total of five churches were also engulfed in raging flood waters from the dams which are located only six kilometres apart.

Cautioned
Local security teams have cautioned residents living in the area to relocate to higher level ground.
Area OCPD Joseph Kisombe confirmed that tens of people had died this month due to drowning in different areas of the sub county.
