Drama ensued on Friday evening in Mombasa after Malindi MP Aisha Jumwa clashed with ODM’s Edwin Sifuna at a public event.

Trouble started when Sifuna who was speaking on behalf of ODM party leader Raila Odinga began explaining why the Malindi MP had been expelled from the party.

A visibly angry Jumwa stormed to the podium, cutting him short and grabbing the microphone bringing the burial ceremony of Mombasa Deputy Governor Dr. William Kingi’s father to a momentary stand-still.

Jumwa demanded respect from Sifuna, insisting that she would not allow him to proceed.
