Jubilee party has put in place a team and a comprehensive strategy to counter the swearing in of National Super Alliance (NASA) leader Raila Odinga.
At a meeting attended by over 30 Members of parliament and governors allied to Jubilee, the party put in place a team to downplay the swearing in event and make a mockery of the opposition chief.
According to The Standard, political strategist Washington Makodingo has been tasked with highlighting the benefits of devolution in various newspaper articles.
Political analyst Gabriel Muthuma has also been brought on board to write an article on the history of devolution.
This is intended to counter NASA narrative that the Jubilee administration has been frustrating devolution.
In the secret strategy, Jubilee has also deployed its team of bloggers to poke fun at the opposition chief and make the event look like a foolish idea.
The team of bloggers has also been tasked with pushing the narrative that the country has moved on.
Confidential sources also revealed that security agencies will this time round avoid any confrontation with NASA supporters as has been witnessed in the past.
Meanwhile, plans are underway to make the Jamhuri day celebrations colourful so as to overshadow NASA’s event that is planned for the same day.
