Presidency is accurately told
Countries like the United States of America, Tanzania, South Africa and Nigeria have such presidential libraries and museums.
Reports by the Nation newspaper indicated that questions have been raised as to whether each president should have their own library preferably at their home region.
To ensure the story of the presidency is accurately told, the team is working with the National Museums of Kenya, historians, and archivists to research and develop the institution.
President Uhuru Kenyatta, in June 2018, approved the establishment of the Presidential Library, Museum and Exhibition Centre, which is an institution for safeguarding the legacies of the nation’s presidents.
