Police officers were on Friday forced to open fire to disperse ODM supporters in Mombasa.
The rowdy youth were causing chaos at the Mombasa High Court after ODM politician Said Abdalla popularly known as Saido lost in his bid to unseat Nyali MP Mohammed Ali.
Moments earlier, the High Court in Mombasa had dismissed the petition challenging the election of Ali, a former KTN investigative journalist.
Lady Justice Lydia Achode ruled that Ali was validly elected and that claims of election irregularities were not supported by evidence.
