Another top City Hotel faces closer due to Cholera outbreak

This is not the first time a big hot Hotel is in trouble over Cholera outbreak

Panari Hotel located along Mombasa road is facing closure due to cholera outbreak cases.

A petition filed at the City Hall courts is seeking the management of the hotel to close the facilities after 22 people were hospitalized after eating at the hotel.

The 22 who were from the NIC Bank tested positive for Cholera symptoms after being taken to the hospital.

According to NairobiNews, The management of the Hotel have already been issued with a letter ordering its closure but they have not complied so far.

However, the management is demanding for a comprehensive investigation into the matter before they act upon the letter of closure.

The Cholera cases were reported on July 20 when the said workers held a workshop at the hotel.

Going by the letter served to Panari Hotel by outgoing Nairobi Governor, two people who had been admitted at Mater Hospital claimed to have eaten fish and salad at the hotel.

This is not the first case of Cholera outbreak being reported at being hotels in Nairobi. Just the other day, Jacaranda Hotel and San Valencia we closed temporally over cholera related cases.
