A fire has broken out at Nairobis popular shopping mall, Sarit Centre in Westlands area.
A huge smoke has engulfed the Sarit Centre premises with the evacuation ongoing.
It remains unclear the nature of the fire that started at the Copy Cat Outlet that is located on the ground floor.
The management of the popular shopping mall has confirmed that the fire has been contained.

"We would like to inform all our tenants and shoppers that there was a small fire in one of our outlets on the ground floor which has now been contained by Sarit Centre security, staff and the Nairobi County Fire Department. No injuries reported," the management stated in a press statement.
