An IEBC official has now announced that they will test the technology being deployed for the upcoming polls three days to the election.
Speaking to a local daily, IEBC commissioner Roselyne Akombe disclosed that they would run a full test of the kits to ensure the kits were effective.
Akombe divulged that they were confident of the new technology stating they had bee testing it all through and it would deliver after using it during the verification process. "We keep testing our technology all the time. Final tests will be done two to three days to the Election Day,” the commissioner was quoted by the Star.The NASA brigade led by Raila Odinga has been demanding for the kits to be tested in a real environment to ensure they don't fail during the polls.Religious leaders had also joined the Opposition in demanding the kits to be tested prior to the Election day.
