Grand Mullah warned the country could descend into a state of disorder in 2017 if Mike Sonko wasn’t arrested and prosecuted.

“In my opinion if Sonko is not prosecuted & jailed,2017 elections will be violent/bloody...multi-candidates will be "sworn" president.” Grand Mullah tweeted.

Donald Kipkorir was sarcastic in his tweets insinuating that the controversial Nairobi Senator was experiencing some sort of malfunction upstairs.

“@ahmednasirlaw Downside of it is that we've too many delusional people & we can't arrest all unless we want to convert KNH to a Mental Hosp.” Kipkorir tweeted.

Prof. Makau Mutua however defended Sonko saying whatever he said was just another case of verbal diarrhea that meant no harm.

“Nothing treasonous when @MikeSonko says he's "acting president." Harmless loose talk. Let's not go back to Njonjo @ahmednasirlaw @DBK017” Tweeted Mutua.
