During his final show on 22 September, Mburu revealed to his fans that will be fly to London next week where he would spend six-months.

Mburu who is a household name in Kenya’s gospel industry, using the Rauka platform to minister to his audience promised to resume his role on the program upon completing his studies.

Mburu disclosed that he arrived at the decision to take a break from the show in order to focus on his upcoming theological studies in London.

"I am asking for prayers from everyone who is a fan of Rauka. God is pulling me into a bit of a break because starting this coming week I will travel to London for studies.

"The reason why I have decided to take this break is because the study focuses on answering the questions of this generation regarding faith which is what apologetics is all about”. Mburu stated.

He revealed that the studies will make him better-equipped to serve upon his return.

"I believe I will be more effective in serving when I come back on the platform. My intention is to come back and I'm rejoining the team in six months.

"It is a program that I have been interested in taking and it runs in an institution called Oxford Center for Christian Apologetics and it is an institution that I will be volunteering with and is run by a ministry called Ravi Zachariah's Ministries," Mburu explained.
