Citizen TV poaches 3 top journalists from KTN after Joe Ageyo

It's a major blow.

General Manager Linus Kaikai left to join Royal Media Services as their new Director of Strategy and Innovation while Jamila Mohammed took up the position of Managing Editor for the Swahili Desk. According to reports, NTV Editor, Pamela Asigi also resigned to take up a new job at Royal Media Services.

NTV is not the only TV station whose top media talents are being siphoned, KTN is taking a hit too.

Major losses

After losing Joe Ageyo to Royal Media Services KTN is bracing themselves for 3 more major losses in their editorial department.

As Business Today reports, Asha Mwilu (CNN MultiChoice African Journalist of the Year), Miswaleh Zingizi (Deputy Managing Editor-Swahili), and Senior News Editor Noah Otieno are leaving KTN for Citizen.
