Why I don't like being called Juliani's baby mama - Brenda Wairimu

Brenda doesn’t like the phrase ‘Juliani's baby mama’.

This is because she believes that she is a brand on her own and has worked hard to earn her rightful place in the industry.

Which is true as she has been in multiple productions that include her role as ‘Shariffa’ in Changing Times ‘Lulu’ in Mali, as ‘Pamela Oyange’ in Kona and as ‘Dala’ in MTV’s Shuga. She is also a model, a producer (she produced Mummy 101) and a TV show host even though she left the show after one season to concentrate on acting.

“My name is Brenda Wairimu so when you are writing an article could you not start by saying Juliani’s baby mama? I have a name I’ve made something of myself, I work hard.” She said on Talk Central.

While on the show Brenda also spoke about her daughter Amor who she had with rapper Juliani 4 years ago. “The name ‘Amor’ is actually Luo it’s not the one with the ‘e’ it means sort of like bring me happiness iand she brings that to every person she meets. Not just me. She is a joy to be around.” She said.

The actress also disclosed that her daughter Amor inspired her show Mummy 101 but she had to put a pause on it as she couldn’t find a balance between producing the show and acting.

“I had a grand plan for that show but I couldn’t find that balance between my acting and producing and so for that, I needed to take a bit of a break before I could figure it out. I’m looking to get back into it, probably not in that capacity but just dealing with kids because I love kids.” She revealed.
