Masauti breaks silence over claims of being chased on stage at Mbosso’s concert

Masauti sets the record straight after being mistreated

Masauti and Mbosso

Singer Masauti has issued a statement explaining what transpired at Mbosso’s concert in Mombasa after reports emerged that he was chased on stage amidst his performance.,

In a detailed post, Masauti blamed the promoter of the show for his tribulations, clearing Mbosso’s name that had been mentioned severally.

Najua mashabiki zangu wanahofu kutaka kujua what exactly happened ndio singependelea mtu atumie jina langu kuelezea my side of the story. Nataka niwaombe tu kwanza tukio hili lilitokea lisitumike kumharibia rafiki yangu @mbosso_ jina wakati siye aliyeandaa show hii," said Masauti.

The singer went on to give details of the lady who caused confusion at the show, forcing Willy M Tuva to intervene before he (Msauti) could finish his set.

The no stress hit-maker also disclosed that the promoters of the show never bothered to facilitate his transportation to and from the show, despite having an agreement.

Yuleyule dada alitaka kunikatiza show katikati😒Vita hivo viliendelea kati yao na uongozi wangu ambao ulipinga hilo wazo lao la kusmamisha show katikati.

Dj alismamisha show kwasababu yule dada alimtishia kutomlipa🤬 mvutano uliendelea akaja @mzaziwillytuva aliyeingilia kati na kukataa mziki ukatishwe namna hio. Aliungana nasi show ikaendelea. Nikaimba na mashabiki zangu hadi wakati wangu ukaisha ndo nikashuka kwenye stage,” explained Masauti.

Nadia Mukami’s Take

Masauti’s statement come days after Nadia Mukami also addressed the mistreated they were subjected to during the Mombasa concert.

“@EricOmondi Ulikuwa unataka mimi na Masauti tupige promoter ndio ujue we are fighting for the industry ama?

There are things that haviitaji kifua. Tunapambana sana. You have a valid point ya kupush fighting to protect our industry but the way you are approaching it sometimes it’s just meeeh! Stop making it an Eric Omondi fight. It’s an industry conversation that needs a lot of systems and structure building,” shared Nadia Mukami.
