Just the other day, it was announced that 'Bounce' hitmaker Ruger is set to perform in Kenya for the first time come September 18, at the Diamond Plaza II in Parklands, Nairobi.
However, little is known about the people who always interlink the Nigerian and Kenyan music industry.
Adekoya Oluwaseun Ayobami alias Seunsharp is one of the people who play a key role when it comes to bringing Nigerian artistes to Kenya.
Over the years Seunsharp has been able to work with different Afrobeats artiste and put on lots of them for concerts, club appearances from top acts like Wizkid,Kizz Daniel, Naira Marley, Reekado Banks, Mayorkun, Zlatan, Bella Shmurda, Skiibii, JoeBoy, just to mention a few.
Currently, Seunsharp who is Kenya-based Nigerian showbiz promoter has partnered with Passport Entertainment Group and Rino Entertainment to bringing; Ruger, Barry Jhay, Zinoleesky and Bella Shmurda to Kenya.
Speaking on the reception for Nigerian music in Kenya, He said Nigeria music is well accepted in Kenya and this gives a room to organize something for both A list artiste and upcoming Nigeria music artiste in the country.
“We hosted a lot of Nigeria artiste and artiste from other countries before now and the outcome was great and awesome. With this privilege to have a successful shows the only way forward is to keep organizing and doing it in a bigger way than ever”
Seunsharp who has been in the showbiz industry since 2015, has been able to help and get new acts to the right larger audience across the African continent.
He has also been able to make use of his platform, experience and connections he has in the showbiz business to get many artistes from different genre of music and countries to get to connect with their fans.
