This sad news comes days after another media personality was bereaved. The cruel hand of death struck the Mwakideu family at around 3pm last Tuesday and took his mother months after his sister passed on.

The sad news was shared by his co-host Jalang’o on Wednesday when explaining to their Milele Breakfast show listeners why Mwakideu had not reported to work.

Jalang’o who was with Mwakideu at the time of his mother's passing commented “Last evening, I looked at my brother Alex Mwakideu tears flowing freely. I knew how much you loved mum! Brother accept my condolences to you and your family! Mambo ya mungu hayana makosa. Let mum rest! God above everything! Rest in Peace mama. Go well! It is well! Count on me this difficult time”.
