Diamond accorded warm a reception in Zari’s motherland, set to link up with Eric Omondi

WCB President Diamond Platnumz landed in his Baby mama’s Motherland (Uganda) ahead of his much anticipated performance at this year’s Comedy Store in Kampala on Thursday.

The Kanyaga hit maker arrived at the Entebbe International airport with his crew at around 1pm aboard the RwandAir.

On Thursday, Platnumz will be headlining the Comedy Store show that also features Kenyan comedian Eric Omondi, and Ugandan singer King Saha among other local comedians.

Ugandans last caught his performance in town in October 2017 at the Kampala City Festival at Kololo Airstrip.

According to Comedy store’s Alex Muhangi, Diamond will be back in Kampala on Thursday 25th July to perform at one of the biggest comedy shows in East Africa, the Comedy Store at UMA showgrounds. He confirmed the news in a video saying:

“KAMPALA UGANDA, THEY CALL ME DIAMOND PLATNUMZ. JUST TO TELL YOU THAT THURSDAY 25TH JULY I WILL BE PERFORMING LIVE ON COMEDY STORE WITH ALEX MUHANGI”

Diamond has won numerous awards and is considered influential among his fans, and is said to be the most loved and decorated East and Central African artist at the moment. He became the first African artist to accumulate as many as 2 million subscribers on his YouTube channel.

Just the other day, Diamond released his calendar that shows that he is one of the most booked artistes in East Africa. Currently, he has over 20 shows awaiting his performance.
