A new beginning for Diamond

The Minister added that Diamond will also be tasked to ensure that the Tanzanian Music Industry observe the rules put in place by producing songs that don't go against their culture.

"You have been going out of the country to represent us on your own, but this time round I want to assure you that I will ensure you get great support and a sendoff of its kinds. I know the event is very big and we have to ensure that your represent the country well as our ambassador” said Harrisson Mwaykembe

This comes after the singer held a closed door meeting in company of his three managers Sallam SK, Babu Tale and Mkubwa Fella and government officials and resolved to lift the ban imposed on his two songs Waka Waka and Halleluyah.

“The assistant Minister insisted that Musicians should follow the right procedures when releasing their songs to avoid clashing with the law in future. She added that all songs that had been banned will be played again on TV under the water shade period so that kids don’t watch them” reads Part of the statement

In the statement Diamond has agreed to work closely with the Assistant Minister Dr. Juliana Sonza after resolving their differences.

(Diamond promised to work hand in hand with the Assistant minster Sonza to ensure that they don’t clash against in future. The Minster for Information Mwekyembe also stated that the government is not fighting artists but it’s just concerned with the culture of its people )” reads part of  the statement
