Earlier on, reports had emerged that the wanted to marry a second wife.
Romy posted a picture of his wife on Instagram with the caption “Habari za asubuhi mabibi na mabwana. Ningependa kuwafahamisha ya kwamba lile swala la mimi kutaka kuoa mke wa pili halikua la kweli. Maana naona DM zinazidi kujaa. Mtanisamehe kwa lolote lililojitokeza” (Good morning ladies and gentlemen, I want to let you know that the claims about me marrying a second wife wasn’t true. My DM keeps flooding. Forgive me for what happened).
This is not the first time the Deejay has been found in such controversy. Last year, he had to apologize to his wife after he was accused of snatching a Tanzanian beauty, Najma Dattan ‘Naj belonging to singer Baraka Da Prince.
Romy denied the accusations stating that he loved his wife and he would never betray her. He blamed his enemies for the baseless accusations and said that they wanted to defame him.
In 2017, the WCB vice president wedded his longtime girlfriend, Kay Jord in an exquisite wedding ceremony.
His invite-only wedding was attended by heavy weights in the Entertainment Industry and a few government officials.
The WCB management showered the DJ with lots of gifts, ranging from money, houses, trips and household items.
Mama Dangote (Romy’s mother) congratulated his son for settling down with a plot worth 80 million (Tanzanian money).
The WCB CEO, Nasseb Abdul offered by buy Romy and his newly wedded wife a house worth 100 million (Tanzanian Money) which is almost Sh5 million Kenyan money.
In July this year, a video surfaced online showing a heavily pregnant Mrs Jons being ushered into her hubby’s Album Listening party that went down at Mlimani City in Dar es Salaam.
Ms Jord had kept the pregnancy a secret, as she rarely shares photos on her social media platforms like before.
