Taking to social media, Bahati informed his fans that he has a daughter called Mueni and went on to share a number of pics of the little girl before opening an account for her on Instagram.
“Too many Blessings have come my way but 2 Years ago was the beginning of a special lifetime Blessing from God. Before anything, I'd like to acknowledge and thank the Love of My Life #Diana for being there for me in all situations, May God bless You. My Lovely Fans, you've stood with me & supported me Since Day one... I'll forever be grateful for that. Allow me to introduce to you the Angel that God blessed me with, My First Born Daughter- I PROMISE TO LOVE AND PROTECT YOU. I WILL BE THE BEST DAD FOR YOU @Mueni_Bahati” Bahati wrote after introducing the toddler.
Now Bahati’s prayer partner Diana Marua has roused controversy after sharing a photo of her and little Mueni.
“I love this innocent soul, so full of love. You're blessed to have @bahatikenya as your Daddy. You are too adorable little princess @mueni_bahati” She captioned the photo.
However, unlike Grace Msalame who got congratulated for being civil when an ex was involved, Diana’s new move has been viewed 'attention seeking' and inappropriate and Kenyans have gone IN. According to the comments, they felt that Diana was showing fake love to the little girl and using her pictures for social media mileage.
Here are just a few reactions to Diana's post
However, Diana doesn't seem bothered by all the negativity that came her way and this was her response to all the bile on social media.
