Speaking to K24’s Betty Kyalo, Diana revealed that they first met when she was fronted as a video vixen to feature in Bahati’s video for the song “Mapenzi” and love blossomed.
Diana confirmed that she was dating when they first met but her relationship hit the rocks shortly after meeting Bahati (Kevin Kioko) when she caught her boyfriend pants down.
She however failed to clarify if Bahati had anything to do with her relationship that crumbled shortly after Bahati came into her life.
She broke up with her boyfriend on the same morning that she went for the video shoot with Bahati and love blossomed, ending in a union that has so far been blessed with two children.
Challenging experience
In the candid interview, Diana also opened up on battling depression shortly after the birth of their first born child, Heaven.
She confessed that being a first-time mother was a challenging experience that saw her sink into post-partum depression.
She stated that while she was experiencing Bahati was all over social media making headlines with the birth of Heaven and cutting the image of the good life that many desire.
Bahati would leave in the morning to go to work where he would spend the whole day leaving her alone at home to handle the pressure and attend to the baby.
Meeting Bahati came with its fair share of changes and challenges that she had to bear with.
Diana was into a life of fun and partying unlike Bahati who was born again and humble.
“Of course before I met Bahati I was of the world. Ilikuwa serious ile proper.” Diana stated, summing up the changes she has undergone ever since Bahati came into her life.
