Eric Omondi responds to fans pressuring him to marry Italian fiancée

Kenyans think it’s about time he married Chantal.

The diminutive comedian popped the question on a beach two Valentines ago and Kenyans think it’s about time he married her.

Responding to the pressure being mounted on him, Eric said that people should watch wedding shows, go to church or marry their own girlfriends and leave him alone.

“Waende wawatch wedding show, kuna maharusi mingi huko sana, ama waende church ama waoe. Sasa si nyinyi muoe madame wenu?” Eric said in a video on Nairobi News.

In a 2016 interview with Pulse Magazine, Eric revealed that he had already paid Chantal’s dowry. He also added that they were already planning their wedding though it was not a stress-free process so they were taking their time.

“It is not easy. Weddings and the process around them can be very involving. As much as people expected this to happen earlier, the good thing is we are doing it at our own speed. I want something perfect for my sweetheart, not just another wedding but a memorable affair that befits her class. And when it happens, you can be sure we won’t be sparing any effort,” Omondi said.
