Foreign Affairs Chief Administrative Secretary (CAS) Ababu Namwamba was on Tuesday trolled by Kenyans on twitter for dressing indecently, during an official trip to South Africa.

Trouble started for the former Budalangi MP after he shared pictures of himself in South Africa attending the Southern African Development Community (SADC) solidarity Conference, dressed in faded jeans.

He went on to say that he was representing President Uhuru Kenyatta at the Conference held in South Africa.

Arrived in South Africa last evening to represent H.E President Uhuru Kenyatta at the SADC Solidarity Conference with Saharawi Republic to be opened by SA President Cyril Ramaphosa. Conference for solidarity with people of Sahrawi and amplify call to implement UN & AU resolutions,” he tweeted.

Kenyans on twitter then raised an issue with Ababu's faded jeans, some saying that he looked like Congolese musician Awilo Longomba ready to entertain his fans.

Others claimed that the CAS looked like he was undergoing a midlife crisis.

In his defense however, Ababu said that he was dressed in his travelling attire.

"Travel attire buddy," he responded to one of the tweets.
