Why I broke up with Joho- Betty Kyallo

Since her separation from Dennis Okari, there has been a lot of talk that Betty started dating a powerful governor during her relationship with Okari.

And unfortunately, some really derogatory things have been said to her especially because some thought that she had dumped Okari for money and that she had intruded into Hassan Joho’s marriage.

However unlike what many thought her relationship with Hassan was legit as they were both going through a separation and both bonded over that fact. So none of them intruded into each other’s marriages. Speaking on Joho, Betty said that “He was easy to talk to and hang out and have fun with.”

But once the rose coloured glasses came off she decided to break it off as they didn’t see eye to eye on things that were important to her and there were also religious and culture clashes.

“After a few months, I decided that this was not what I wanted for myself. We had a culture clash and a religious clash. I also wanted to be a strong woman; I wanted to make something for myself and my daughter. I wanted to start a business because I am young and energetic. But he wanted someone who was chilled; there was also a conversation of me quitting my career and just staying at home. We did not see eye to eye on this.” She confessed to True Love Magazine.

And so after a few months of dating, they parted ways amicably in December 2016.

Speaking on her relationship with Okari and whether they managed to co-parent after the split Betty admitted that they haven’t spoken since the breakup.

“I was comfortable with him being part of our daughter’s life but he decided otherwise. I am perfectly fine with it. I respect his decision.” She said.
