On Friday, Digi Digi hitmaker Ali Yusuf popularly known as Arrow Bwoy brought Nairobi to a standstill as he unveiled his much anticipated Album “HATUA” at the Carnivore Simba Salon.

A good number of celebrities turned up to accord Arrow Bwoy support as he launched his first 15- track Album. HATUA, is a Swahili word that translates to strides or steps.

Those present at the launch were treated to great performances from celebrities like; Jovial, Masauti, Brown Mauzo, Nadia Mukami, Wyre, KRG the Don, Fena Gitu, Naiboi, Timmy Tdat, Otile Brown, the Dynamics Band and Arrow Bwoy himself.

The Hatua album

The Hatua album talks about the different strides he (Arrow Bwoy) has taken in his career and what it has cost him to get there. From his beginnings as a meat seller at City Market to his debut.

Arrow Bwoy’s band “The Dynamics Band" carried the night with their extra ordinary skills when it came to handling their instruments and their sweet voices. Media personality Mzee Jalang’o was the official MC o the night assisted by (hype man) Guddah Man.

The launch was graced by a number of Kenyan celebrities; Hart the Band, Chris Kirwa, Dr. Ofweneke, Peter Nduati, Naiboi, Man Kind, Ken Mijungu, Jovial, Masauti, Brown Mauzo, Nadia Mukami, Wyre, KRG the Don, Fena Gitu, Timmy Tdat, Otile Brown, the Dynamics Band just but to mention a few.

Mother on Stage

It was an emotional moment at the Album launch when Arrow Bwoy brought his mother on stage, thanking her for supporting his musical journey all along.

This was Arrow Bwoy's first studio Album that has featured big names in the music industry among them; Badgyal Cecile, Wyre, Demarco, Mayorkun, Fena Gitu and Jovial.

The HATUA album is available on Boomplay, with a worldwide release on all digital platforms planned thereafter.
