The New York edition of the annual One Africa Music Fest was held on 10th August 2019 at the Ford Amphitheater with thrilling performances from Africa’s top musicians.

Tanzanian King Pin Diamond Platnumz did not disappoint as he gave an electrifying performance that left the crowd singing along to the Swahili lyrics of all his songs.

Award Winning star Eddy Kenzo from Uganda was among celebrities who represented East Africa to the fullest with great energy on stage and extraordinary dance moves.

The event brought together more than 20 artistes from the entire continent among them; Wyclef Jean, Burna Boy, 2Face, Tekno, Tiwa Savage, Afro B, Casanova, Teni, Eddy Kenzo, Kranium, Rotimi, Diamond Platnumz, Jay Prayzah, Zlatan just to mention a few.

The Event was emceed by Banky Wellington aka Banky W.

East African young King and WCB Signee Harmonize was also supposed to be part of the event, but unfortunately he failed to get a US VISA on time.

The One Africa Music Fest will be moving to London at the “The SSE ARENA, WEMBLY” on August 24th, where Kenya’s Akothee, Nandy, Vanessa Mdee are also scheduled to perform.

The Festival “One Africa Music Fest” is set to climax in Dubai come November 15th, 2019.

Diamond in Minnesota

Away from the One Africa Music Fest, On Sunday WCB President Chibu Dangote had another show in Minnesota that was full to capacity.

His US based promoter DMK Global took to social media to share footage from the show thanking residents of Minnesota for turning up in large numbers to have a good time.
