How I made money dressed like a witchdoctor in New York – Eric Omondi
The funny man who spoke on the Kris Fade Show in Dubai’s Virgin Radio narrated how he went to Times Square dressed like a traditional African medicine man.
He carried with him African vegetables which included cabbage and kales and Americans were surprised with what he was doing.
The comedian went on to say that the whole time he was speaking in Swahili and he explained to them that it was medicine, which he was selling at USD 20.
Eric Omondi revealed that a few minutes later, his newly found business was up and people actually bought the medicine.
“I went to New York City and disguised as a witchdoctor, a traditional African medicine man. Now what they do is that they offer herbs that cure numerous problems. So I went into Times Square dressed traditionally with some cabbages, some kales, basically African vegetables and they were giving me money. First they came and they were wondering what’s going on and so I was speaking in Swahili and I explained to them that this is actual African medicine and it only goes for 20 Dollars. After three minutes business was booming,” narrated Eric Omondi.
