Award-winning gospel musician Jimmy Gait is in mourning following the death of his close friend who succumbed to cancer misdiagnosis.

In a video posted on his YouTube channel, an emotional Jimm Gait who broke into tears mid-way revealed that he had lost a close friend who he met in India where they were admitted to the same hospital with the friend receiving treatment.
“I just received news that my short-lived friend who had come to love so much just passed on.” Stated the musician.
“I feel so much pain right now. When I remember the pain that this mzee was going through when I was there, I feel so much pain.

“I feel so much pain that so many Kenyans are suffering because of some people because all they want is money-not to treat people” He asserted.
The musician spoke strongly against greedy doctors whose only interest is money, giving wrong diagnosis that sometimes result in death as in the friend’s case.

Mid-way through the video, the 'Muhadhara' hitmaker breaks into tears, sobbing as he urges Kenyans to sign a petition to change the health system by signing a petition which he launched following his misdiagnosis that saw him fly to India.
The musician launched an online petition that has so far been signed by more than 3000 people seeking to punish unscrupulous doctors who intentionally misdiagnose cancer patients in order to make money.
