In the videos, Mbosso aka ‘The African Voice’ is seen gyrating and going all ‘pasa pasa’ on some ladies on stage in Mtwara during Eid celebrations at Makonde beach.
Following the outrage on social media and the consequent summoning by BASATA, Mbosso decided to explain himself. The African Voice disclosed that he did not intend to offend with the titillating videos but his fans egged him on and he felt like he had to be a bit obscene to make his show a success.
“There are a lot of people who believe that Mbosso has changed since joining Wasafi but I have not. My fans are the ones that encouraged me to go a little crazy in my show. Some grab you, grab your legs and others even kiss you. The ‘Nadekezwa’ singer disclosed that he had asked for forgiveness from BASATA and also asked his fans to forgive him for the raunchy video as they went against the moral code of conservative Tanzanians.
