Milele FM team treat Boss Alex Mwakideu to a surprise Birthday Party

On Wednesday, Milele FM Boss and breakfast show host Alex Mwakideu was treated to a surprise Birthday Party with colleagues at the Mediamax owned station.

Videos shared on Social media indicate the lavish party was held at a joint in Kileleshwa, bringing together all Milele FM presenters to celebrate their boss upon turning a year older.

Towards the end of last year, Mwakideu was appointed as the head of Radio at Milele FM, months after he was poached from Radio Maisha.

Promotion

The news of his promotion were shared by Mediamax’s Joyce Gituro, who congratulated him and his deputy Samuel Ngunjiri, as she prayed for God’s guidance as they assumed office.

“Congratulations @alex_mwakideu, Head of Radio and @ngunjiri_s, deputy Head of Radio on your new roles. May God guide your every step. Together let’s take @milelefm higher! My brand, our brand! #ItambeMilele,” wrote Joyce Wa Gituro.

Re-united

Alex Mwakideu’s promotion came barely six months after he teamed up with Jalango to co-host Milele Breakfast at station.

The two presenters re-united for the second time after they parted ways for more than a year after having worked together at Standard Group’s Radio Maisha.

After their separation, Jalang’o joined Jeff Koinange on HOT 96 Breakfast while Mwakideu remained at Radio Maisha.
