Wilbroda’s advice to Anne Waiguru ahead of her wedding

Kirinyaga Governor Ann Mumbi Waiguru is set to marry Lawyer Kamotho Waiganjo in a traditional wedding (Ngũrario) 4 weeks from now. The high profile nuptials will take place at Kiamũgumo Primary School in Kirinyaga County on July 13th 2019.

Milele FM presenter Wilbroda had some pieces of advice for the blushing bride and one of them was that she should take her time (I think to get kids), preferably wait at least 3 years and test the waters .

“Ukiolewa tu hivi itabidi ungoje miaka mitatu incase things ziende segemnege. Mambo yakienda segemnege itabidi uvumilie hiyo segemnege kwa miaka mitatu,” Wilbroda advised on Milele FM.

She then went on to add that Waiguru should ensure that she has a marriage certificate even if she is getting married in a traditional wedding. “Number two mkifanya Ngũrario, kumbuka kwamba certificate is a must hata kama ni traditional wedding, ni a must. Lazima uende ufanye registration.”

Wilbroda also advised young ladies against rushing into marriage for fear that their biological clock is ticking, they should be patient just like Waiguru and they too will get a decent man.

“Acheni kukimbilia ndoa ukiona wakati unakupita. Anne Waiguru amepata sabuni ya roho yake ilhali watoto wake ni wakubwa,” she recommended.
