The collective was unveiled during the MTV Staying Alive Foundation’s 20th-anniversary celebrations and members come from a variety of countries including The Republic of Ireland, Nigeria and the UK.

Nick broke the good news with a post that read “I’m so excited to announce that I’m a part of the MTV Staying Alive Squad! I’ve been working with MTV Shuga for 9 years and it’s been great to see the number of young people they’ve reached with MTV Shuga and the grantee programme! MTV Staying Alive continues to be trailblazers for HIV prevention work among young people. This year we celebrate their 20th anniversary, be sure to follow @mtvstayingalive to keep up with all the activities for the year! #MTVSAFSquad #MTVShuga #MTVSAF20.”
