Musician Esther Akoth, aka Akothee collapses on stage during electrifying performance at the Luo Festival in Kisumu

Award winning artiste Esher Akoth aka Akothee collapsed on stage, causing panic among her fans.

Akothee who was among the perfomers at the star-studded Luo Festival in Kisumu lost consciousness and was taken off the stage for first aid and medical attention.

The singer was in the middle of an electrifying performance when she collapsed, luckily the dancers held her before she hit the ground.

Last week, the outspoken singer had been admitted at the Karen Hospital over flu and fatigue.

She was later discharged and there after she went back to work and continued rehearsing for the Luo Festival.

“I have never allowed my challenges cover my beautiful smile, no one knew I was thrown out of Switzerland 9 months pregnant to come back to Africa, his exact words " go back to Africa I have no time ,energy or family to take care of you, I am not ready for a family now , you have too many children, and a man cannot fall in love at 50, this words penetrated deep inside my stomach , I seek advice from people I knew in Europe, but none was making sense to me” wrote Madam Boss.
