Kenyan musician NaiBoi is extending his roots to the International market after a successful music career in 2018.

Naiboi, who is currently riding high with songs “2 in 1 and Usipime Mwanaume” has begun the year 2019 on a high note after securing a collaboration with Jamaican reggae group Morgan Heritage.

The Grammy Award winning group (Mojo Morgan. Gramps Morgan, Peetah Morgan) announced their upcoming collaboration with the Kenyan singer through their Official Instagram handle.

The new millstone in Naiboi’s music comes after he delivered an impressive performance at Wasafi Festival on December 31st, 2018.

The concert saw Morgan heritage and artistes from Diamond Platnumz record label (WCB) entertain revelers at Uhuru Gardens.

An excited Naiboi mentioned that he was excited upon working with the legendary Morgan heritage.

“Getting a call from my brothers and telling me I caught their attention at the show and that they had to meet me , they love what I do and believe in what I stand for is just way beyond my imagination given that am a huge fan! @grampsmorgan gave me so much insight and advice from a global perspective that really opened up my thinking .NEW YEAR NEW DEALS. Its cool to be conscious” shared Naiboi.

Away from the new collaboration, The Usipime Mwanaume maker is among musicians representing Kenya at the 2019 Coke Studio Africa set to Air in February.
