Nandy sets the record straight on dating Willy Paul

Since the release of their hit single ‘Hallelujah’ the names Willy Paul and Nandy have been on everyone’s lips not only because their song is a certified banger but also because of their antics.

The two entertained fans with a risqué performance during the Choma na Ngoma concert before hitting Tanzania for another steamier performance.

While they performed their hit ‘Hallelujah’ in Sumbawanga, Nandy hopped on to Willy Paul’s waist and rode him like a stolen bodaboda.

Their palpable chemistry on stage attracted speculations that there could be more than meets the eye when it comes to these two.

Nandy has however made it clear that there is nothing going on between her and Willy in a reply on Instagram.

“Nandy uko wapi mama unaibiwa handsome wako hukuu,” read a message goading Nandi to respond.

“Handsome wangu hayupo duniani dyadaaa naicheee,” Nandi wrote back indicating that the only man she loves is the late Ruge Mutahaba.

And when the blogger pointed out that Wikipedia indicated that she is dating Pozze, Nandy vehemently replied with “Weeeeee shindwaaaa jay shindwaaaaa!”

Nandy’s relationship with Ruge Mutahaba

Nandy was engaged to co-founder and programs director at Clouds Media Group Ruge Mutahaba. Ruge passed on a month to their wedding while undergoing treatment in South Africa. This was following a 6 month battle with Kidney failure.

Not many people knew about Nandy’s relationship with Ruge as they wanted to keep it that way.

“Nilikataa kwa sababu hatukupenda mahusiano yetu kwa sababu I know ingekuwa iko open ingekuwa ni more worse than hata hivo walivyokuwa wamejua kidogo. Kuna watu ambao wangeona ni sawa lakini wengi hawangeona ni sawa so tulikuwa tunajaribu sisi wote wawili kutengeneza njia ya maisha yetu binafsi ili kufikia lengo letu,” she told Millard Ayo TV.

Nandy also said that they had seen the drama that accompanies a public relationship as Ruge had gone through it and it’s not something they wanted for themselves.

“Sio hofu ya mziki ama kazi katika maisha yetu tulikuwa tayari tumeshapanga maisha tunavyoyaendesha kuanzia mziki wangu na position yake na hata familia ya clouds na familia zetu. Lakini kikubwa tumeona madhara, especially yeye ndiye aliweka mahusiano yake wazi ilikuwa inamaneno drama kipindi hata siko naye nilikuwa naona kwa hivo hatukutaka hio lifestyle iendelee tena kwenye maisha yetu,” disclosed Nandy.
