Rapper brings the sauce with Yemi Alade and reveals when ‘Mungu Pekee’ will be released

Multi-talented Kenyan artiste Nyashinski of the famed music group Kleptomaniax has made Kenyans proud by his stellar performance on Coke Studio Africa season 4.

Last weekend he premiered on the show for the first time, collaborating with Nigerian MTV Award-winning Best Female Artist Yemi Alade performing the song Forever by Tanzanian power vocalist Ruby.

Speaking about his entrant into the show and working with the divas, Nyashinski said, “I had a great time recording at Coke Studio and I am so happy with our performance – the feedback was mind blowing! I am just honoured to have been paired with the two ladies, as they are both so talented and have beautiful voices.”

The Ruby, Yemi Alade and Nyashinski collabo produced by Chopstixx was a triple threat combination as the version of Ruby’s  Forever took into a Zouk-ish live performance played by the Coke Studio Africa House Band.

In Forever, Nyashinski gets back to his rap skill. He has been showing off his singing in most of the songs he has produced since his return to Kenya from his hiatus in the USA.

His latest release Mungu Pekee has been rocking the airwaves in East Africa. Nyashinski has confirmed that the music video to Mungu Pekee will be dropping before 2017, and that he is already in talks with the management of Yemi Alade and Ruby regarding recording new songs.

On the same show, Mozambican singer Lizha James brought the house down with her performance of The Kansoul’s cover of Drum.
