Maisha Asubuhi
Joining Radio Maisha, Mwalimu an alumni of Kenya Institute of Mass Communication started off as the host of Maisha Asubuhi (6am-10am) with Billy Miya, before he was shifted to host Maji Makuu (8pm -00am) alongside Babu Wakasiaka. He was replaced by MCA Tricky on Maisha Asubuhi.
The duo (Mbaruk and Billy) used to host the Milele FM’s breakfast show but parted ways with the station back in July last year.

Taking to social media Mbaruk Mwalimu had this to say about his new home (July 2018) “Show ikiwa kubwa, unapiga pamba safi, pamba nyepesi. Karibu kwenye saa nne za burudani habari na interaction kibao. ndani ya @radiomaisha Good morning!”
His colleague Billy Miya was also excited upon joining Radio Maisha “Tulisembeze pamoja ndanibya 102.7 mpaka kieleweke. Inyonywee mpaka ilegeee.”
Before coming to Nairobi City, both Mbaruk and Miya used to work for Baraka Fm in Mombasa.
