Rev. Lucy Natasha – I don’t have bodyguards

Speaking to K24’s Betty Kyallo, Rev Natasha downplayed the claims saying that the group of people always seen around her are protocol, and not bodyguards.

She went on to say that it is just a misconception people have and they always judge her without getting proper information on what is actually going on.

The Oracle Ministries boss also noted that we all need security and the protocol team is just a huge part of stewards who work with her.

Rev Lucy stated that their duty is to ensure that there is order and everything goes as planned whenever they are ministering.

The team headed by her brother also ensures the crowds she ministers to, are controlled.

“Actually I think that is a misconception and like I said earlier is that people crucify you from the court of public opinion without getting proper information. I don’t have bodyguards first of all, what these are, are protocol. Protocol team is mainly the team that serves God together with me. These are just sons and daughters and they bring order and also when it comes to security let me say something, whether you are a believer, a non-believer definitely everybody needs security, you can’t say just because you are born again you won’t lock your house, you won’t take any security precaution, but for this ones, they are spiritual sons and daughters, they serve in the ministry, they are among the stewards, we have over 100 stewards that serve in the ministry but these ones are more prominent because they don’t serve behind the scenes. They are always with me in most places just to ensure there is order because also God is a God of order just ensure that everything goes well, they are there to manage the crowds. They are part of the service,” she said.

Dating Sonko

In the interview, she also addressed claims of dating Nairobi Governor Mike Mbuvi Sonko and that he bankrolls her flashy lifestyle and ministry.

Rev Lucy Natasha made it clear that her connection with Sonko was nothing more than a spiritual one.

“In actual fact the governor is very God-fearing and my connection with him is very spiritual. He is somebody I have prayed with many times …I have prayed with him over various issues and he is a God-fearing man,” said Natasha.
