The list for nominees for the 2017 Groove awards was unveiled on May 2 at the Chandaria Center at the University of Nairobi.
Big names in the Kenyan gospel industry have squeezed their way back to the list. Lengendary gospel artist Daddy Owen has returned to the list in the Male Artist of the Year category and he will battle out with the Pitson, Eko Dydda, Guardian Angel, Kris Eeh and Pastor Anthony Musembi.
Gospel stars Willy Paul Msafi and Kevin Bahati are nowhere to be seen on the Nominees list of the 2017 Groove Awards.
