Singer Nandy’s convoy involved in accident, several injured

Tanzanian songbird Nandy’s convoy was involved in a grisly road accident that saw several of her band members injured and rushed to hospital.

According to reports, a vehicle the band members were travelling in, to Nandy’s much awaited show in Sumbawanga got involved in the accident at a place called Mikumi in Morogoro.

Several people who were occupants of the Toyota Coaster model bus who are also Nandy’s band members were injured and rushed to hospital for treatment.

At the time of the accident, the singer’s motorcade was on the way to Sumbwanga for the much awaited #NandyFestival.

At the Nandy festival, several Tanzanian artistes are expected to entertain revelers from the Sumbawanga region. The artistes include; Juma nature, comedian and singer Whozu, Stamina, Nandy, Barnaba Classic, Roma, Billnass, Ice Boy and Kenyan singer Willy Paul.

Over the weekend, Willy Paul and the Tanzanian Songstress sparked a frenzy online, following their raunchy performance at the Choma Na Ngoma event held at the KICC.

Videos and photos surfaced online showing Nandy grinding on Willy Paul as they entertained the crowd, with their hit song ‘Hallelujah’.

The suggestive dance moves elicited a heated debate on social media with a section praising Willypozee for being a good performer, while others were left wondering if the singer had completely switched from the Gospel side.
