Metropolitan TV General Manager Terryanne Chebet has thrown her hat into the cosmetic ring with a brand called ‘Keyara Cosmetics’.

The cosmetic company is a subsidiary of Keyara Organics and seeks to offer luxurious products for the African woman.
Terryanne revealed that she had always wanted to venture into cosmetics and the birth of Keyara Cosmetics is a dream come true.
“My 2015 Vision board had #Keyaramakeup on it. I’ve learned to trust the process no matter how long it takes and I’m inspired to believe in my dreams. I many times almost gave up, but deep down I knew that one day it would be a reality. I’m thankful to God for @keyaracosmetics and the opportunity to grow yet another Brand built for the African QUEEN,” wrote Terryanne.
The launch of her cosmetic line comes about 3 years after she launched Keyara Organics which offers body butter,oils and balms sourced from different parts of Africa.
“As Keyara grows it’s footprint across the personal care segment, we hope to make a mark on the bright spot that is the globally growing natural products market,” she had earlier said before adding “It is time the world begins to see the other side of Africa. Some of the world’s most luxurious skincare brands source their premium oils from Africa, but we, Africans, are left to only export raw materials and rarely benefit from the opportunities in value addition.”
Terryanne Chebet is among the increasing number of celebrities who are leveraging their fame to build a fortune for themselves. Amber Ray recently launched her own line of lipsticks called Zumaridi by Amber, Vera has Veetox detox tea and Vera Sidika Beauty Parlour, Betty Kyallo has a salon by the name Flair by Betty while Huddah is experiencing resounding success with Huddah Cosmetics.
