Top KTN News Anchor and Morning Express host Zindzi Kibiku has parted ways with the Mombasa Road based Media House.
Kibiku who joined KTN back in 2015, announced her exit via her Twitter handle, revealing that she joined the media house as an Intern and grew to the ranks of a news anchor along the way..
“August 2015 I joined KTN News team as an intern. As infant as the station was with a goal to be the first 24/HR news network, so was my budding journalism career. They took a chance on me and allowed me to realize my dream while being myself . I meet so many of you amazing people. Thank you for your feedback, picking calls, showing up in studio and teaching me. Today, I say goodbye with a full heart.” Reads tweets from the TV Girl Zindzi Kibiku.
What’s Trending
Before the exit, Zindzi used to host another a segment known as “What’s Trending” on East Africa’s first 24-hour news channel KTN News. She was also the co-host to Michael Gitonga of Morning Express.
The segment digs into online platforms sharing popular stories and hashtags that generate top trends in Kenya and around the world.
She also used to hosts "Youth Cafe" on KTN News with Brian Aseli.
Millennials
Zindzi is also a Vlogger. Besides on-air presentations and field reporting, she runs a YouTube channel – ZINDZI where she interacts with millennial's.
Zindzi is a communications graduate of Daystar University. She has experience in online podcasts and she is building a career in moderation with key interests in matters social media, youth, human interest features.
