A number of Tanzania celebrities have embraced a new hair style that is now becoming a trend in Tanzania.

Led by the King of Bongo Music Alikiba, the musicians have embraced the new trend of colouring their hair in different shades as a way of trying out something new.

The new style which was started by the Hit-maker of "Moyo Machine" Ben pol has gone viral in Tanzania  and celebrities have joined the trend.

For the RockStar 4ooo CEO (Alikiba) he opted to go for a red dyed hair style, while Vanessa Mdee and Ommy Dimpoz have dyed their hair Blonde.

Coloring hair in not a new thing in the industry, as a number of celebs have established coloured hair as their identity.

According to hair specialists, hair colouring can remain permanent on your hair until your hair grows and start exposing its roots.
