Gospel singer Willy Paul has been trending at number one for the better part of the day.

This is after videos of ladies erotically grinding on him during his performance at Club Wakanda made their way online.

The Gospel singer had organized a masquerade party at Club Wakanda which also doubled up as a meet and greet.

However, things got heated when some of the ladies at the club joined him during his performance and sensually danced and rubbed up against him at the club.

After the video went online, the Willy Paul topic quickly gained traction to a point where he trended at number one on Twitter. However many people weren’t surprised by the club video because it’s Willy Paul, it’s kind of expected.

“When Willy Paul was trending at number one I thought he has a new hit song. This is the Willy Paul we know, nothing new,” read one comment.

“You love trolling Willy Paul when the truth is you line up on YouTube to watch his music in your blankets. Or where does he get 1M plus views month after month???? Washenzi,” read another.

“Willy Paul knows exactly how to stay Relevant in the music industry. He collected Sadaka in the gospel industry then Boom now he is dundaing and suguaing Ladies in clubs,” @IamBravin wrote.

The reason why so many people were not surprised is that they are used to the ‘Hallelujah’ singer living his best life at the club.

In the past, the Gospel bad boy has shown no qualms about performing at secular events and even hits the clubs to perform from time to time. He performed ‘Tam Tam’ with Size 8 at a Wakilisha East Africa event held at Club Tribeka a few years ago.

He was back at the club to perform ‘Fanya’ and even posted a video of himself at the club captioning it “FANYA is fire see for Urself mpaka Tribeka.’’

Bahati at the club

Gospel’s other wonder kid Bahati also sparked a heated debate on social media this year after he was spotted performing in a club with skimpily dressed ladies around him.

In another photo, the ‘Ndani Ya’ singer was seen taking pictures with the some of his fans at the club in Gachie.

Following the backlash, the singer went on to say that he was not self-righteous and there was no way he could stop his fans from taking pictures because people dressed like strippers were behind him.

“Can I tell you something, hio picha ilirise up a week ago but hio ni show nilifanya six months ago. I remember it was in Gachie and I love all my fans. When I’m performing mimi si holier than thou siwezi sema usipige picha juu nyuma kuna mtu amevaa kama stripper. So the moment I saw this photo I was like siwezi judge, I’m not God. Kama God amenipea jina naeza itishwa na mtu picture I think I should be thankful to God. But sasa siwezi anza kuangalia tumesimama wapi hebu ambia huyu dem amaevaa vibaya atoke,” the singer said on The Wicked Edition.
